The short answer
7AS Trust clears imported vehicles at Tema Port for individuals, dealers and fleet owners. Send us the VIN, year and engine size before you buy and we will estimate duty, check age-related penalties and restrictions, then clear the vehicle on ICUMS and hand over release documents for DVLA registration.
Check before you buy
Customs values vehicles from the original new price for the make, model and year, depreciated by up to 50% for age, not from what you paid at auction. Vehicles older than ten years pay an overage penalty. From 1 October 2026, used vehicles need a GSA Certificate of Conformance, and those over 15 years old or damaged by flood, fire or to the chassis are refused. A two-minute check with us can save a costly surprise.
