The short answer
Project cargo is any shipment that needs special engineering to move: oversized, overweight or high-value equipment, often delivered in phases to a remote site. 7AS Trust plans these moves from port to foundation in Ghana, including route surveys, abnormal-load permits, escorts, exemptions and chartering.
How we plan a project move
- Cargo list review: dimensions, weights, centre of gravity, lifting points
- Route survey from port to site: bridges, bends, gradients, overhead lines
- Permits and police escorts for abnormal loads
- Port handling: ship's gear or shore cranes, lay-down area
- Clearance, including project duty exemptions where approved
- Transport, offloading and positioning at site
Chartering
Part and full air charters for urgent critical spares, and vessel charters for break-bulk and bulk project shipments into Tema or Takoradi.
Sectors we support
Mining, oil, gas and power, construction and infrastructure, and telecoms roll-outs.
