The short answer
7AS Trust runs bonded transit from Tema Port to Burkina Faso. We lodge the transit declaration and bond in Ghana, load and seal the truck, track it north through Kumasi and Tamale to the Paga border, and hand over to the consignee's agent for Burkinabè customs formalities in Ouagadougou or Bobo-Dioulasso.
The route
Tema – Kumasi – Tamale – Bolgatanga – Paga (Ghana) / Dakola (Burkina Faso) – Ouagadougou. Cargo for Bobo-Dioulasso continues west from Ouagadougou, or can route via the Hamile crossing in the Upper West.
Burkina Faso left ECOWAS in January 2025 together with its Alliance of Sahel States partners. Transit through Ghana has continued, but documentation, guarantees and border practice can change. We confirm current requirements on every file.
